Pertamax is a name for special fuel / gasoline produced by the only one Indonesia´s state oil company, Pertamina. Pertamax launched as Premix98 succesor at the end of 1999 which dedicated to high-end vehicle. Pertamax strong value is lead free, high octane rating (92 for Pertamax and 96 for Pertamax Plus) and have a better combustion so it can improve durability and decrease knocking especially for high compression engines. Pertamax avalaible almost in every gas / oil station (SPBU) from small to big city in Indonesia so everybody must be familiar with this word.
